FiresideFur was founded in 2015. Our workshop is located in the region where Tibetan lamb has long been part of local life and tradition. In this area, lamb is primarily raised for food, and the hides are a natural by-product of the local meat industry.
Rather than letting these materials go to waste, we carefully select and transform them into warm, timeless home pieces. These natural lamb skins provide exceptional warmth and comfort, especially during the colder winter months.
Tibetan lamb sourcing region
All of our raw materials are hand-selected directly from local suppliers each year. This allows us to personally choose high-quality furs with beautiful natural texture, curl, and softness. Every piece is then handcrafted by skilled local artisans who have years of experience working with natural lamb fur.

Our mission has always been simple: to create honest, well-made products while supporting local farming communities and preserving traditional craftsmanship. By working closely with local artisans, we aim to contribute to sustainable livelihoods and responsible sourcing.
In 2017, we launched our shop on Etsy to serve customers around the world. Since then, we have been grateful to receive a large number of positive reviews and loyal customers who appreciate the quality, authenticity, and care behind our products.
